Ginny Domestic Shorthair Young Female for sale in Oakdale, Minnesota

$175

Ginny's story
Hi there, my name is Ginny, and I am a sweet & spunky 8-month-old red-headed lady! Did you know that only about 20% of orange tabbies are female? Not exactly one-in-a-million, but I still know that I'm pretty darn special ;)

I was found outside in Minneapolis during Pride weekend where I was just looking to have a good time. I've been spayed and vetted, and after spending some time in the great indoors, I think I'm ready to settle down. I still love watching out the windows though, and I love stretching out in the sun on my window perch to watch all the squirrels and birds. I also like toys - my favorite is the Star Chaser Turbo Scratcher. I love chasing the light-up ball around the track! I like people a LOT - they give such good head scratches and belly rubs! I even just like human company. If I'm alone, I'll meow and call my people so they know to come sit with me while I watch out the window or play with my toy. I love sitting next to (or let's be real, on top of) the computer while my people work and watching them, and if they don't take enough breaks to pet me, I'll tap their hand to remind them I'm there. Right now I'm not so sure about other animals - I like watching and observing them from a safe space, but if it looks like they might try to invade my bubble, I get a little nervous. I'd prefer to be an only kitty, but I'd probably do well with a respectful dog or a low-key cat with slow introductions.

My weirdest quirk is that I like to carry soft things in my mouth. Got socks laying around? I may steal them and drool on them - or take them for a dip in my water bowl. I'm pretty sure all my fluffy toys are actually pool floaties, and I don't know why my foster parents keep insisting otherwise.

All in all, I'm a fiery little nugget just looking for a great place to catch some rays and get some belly rubs. Think you might have the perfect place? Apply to meet me today!
